Since the first lockdown started last year, I have re-kindled my love for reading and now I can’t stop buying books. One book I have recently read is Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and I loved it so here’s a little review.

I won’t lie, at first, I couldn’t get into this book. It has kind of a slow start and I don’t know about you, but I like a book to draw me in from the very beginning. However, as I had seen a lot of good reviews on social media about it, I stuck with it and kept on reading. And I am so glad I did. I won’t give away too much just in case you want to give it a read, but it has so much to offer! Romance, murder mystery, social issues and even a bit of zoology in some parts. What more could you want?
The main character, Kya, is also the type of character you instantly connect with and feel sympathy for, which I think is what got me so hooked. And spoiler alert: it’s a happy ending which we love right? Overall, this book is a great one to read if you want to get back into reading or just want a feel-good novel.
So, that’s it for now, I’m sure I will be back with another book review soon. Thanks for reading!
