Little life update. Long time no see.

So it's been a while...
Apparently, between uni work and creating Instagram content, I forgot about my lil' blog:(
So I guess this post is a little life update if you're interested.
Let's go back to September when I moved to Leeds and started university. Well, I wouldn't call it 'moving to Leeds' when I came home the next day (HA). So let's just say I HATED the first night and called my mum at the first chance I could for her to pick me up. Now, I could just sit here and lie and say that I settled in fine and fitted straight in but why lie? Someone could be reading this and could feel exactly the same, so, you could say I just want to spread some awareness that not everyone LOVES the 'uni life'. Not everyone loves to get drunk every night and stay up all hours. If you are that kind of person, great. You do you. But I am most definitely not. So yeh, that day I called my mum and after going into uni for an induction session I went straight back home. And honestly, I don't regret any of it. So, fast forward 2 months and I've now met the loveliest group of friends and we've just signed for a flat together next year (eek!) If you'd have said to me on that first day of uni that I would meet 3 lovely girls who are just like me I definitely wouldn't have believed you and if it wasn't for them I don't think I'd still be doing the course (which I bloody love by the way). So I guess the moral of the story is just to stay true to yourself. I could've lied to myself and tried to be someone I wasn't just to fit in with everyone else. But what's the point in that. I've never been one to follow the crowd, in fact I'm quite the opposite, so why start now? You're never gonna be happy trying to be someone you're not. Oh and if you're wondering what I did with my accommodation in Leeds, I am still using it apart from I'm at home at the moment for lockdown. But when I have uni I stay there during the week and it works out perfectly fine for me. Also a little shoutout to my flatmates who have been super understanding throughout all of this.

Okay, so that's the uni situation, now what about lockdown? Lockdown 2.0 started on 5th November and honestly nothing much has changed for me. I do all my uni lectures online now and we have a lot of work to be getting on with so I definitely don't have any worries filling my time. I've also been taking a lot of time to work on my Instagram this last few months. It's always been something I've loved doing but, recently, I've been spending more time creating content. So if there is anything you would like to see from me on there or on this blog, drop me a direct message, any ideas would be appreciated. I am going to try and get better at updating this blog (oops) but don't hold me to that.
Thanks for reading and see you soon xx
