As restrictions start to ease in England and we can finally start to plan things again I find myself thinking about what I am most looking forward to.
It goes without saying the main thing that I have missed is travel. Whether that’s a beach holiday in sunny Spain or a city break to Milan. That, without a doubt is what I have missed the most. I think it may still be a while, however, before I step into another country, but I am hopeful that it will happen soon enough. The first place I would love to go is Paris. To jump on the Eurostar and be in Paris within a couple of hours would be amazing. Me and my lovely friends from university are already planning our first trip there and I can’t wait.
But let’s be a little more realistic and talk about some things I am looking forward to within this country. The one thing that springs to mind is moving into a new flat in July! This is something me and my friends talk about almost every day, we are so excited to live together. Due to Covid we haven’t had the best first year at university, in fact I think we have all been at home for the majority of it. So, let’s just say we are counting down the days until we can move in. Plus, we haven’t even seen the flat yet apart from on a video and through photos so that makes it all even more exciting.
This leads me to another thing I am looking forward to post covid. Spending time with my friends. We are moving in together and we haven’t even had the chance to spend that much time together in person. It’s mad. I feel so grateful to have met people that are so similar to me and I can’t wait to get to know them better than I already do. And not have to social distance! Bring on July.
So, that’s a few things that I am looking forward to post covid. Thanks for reading!
